There are many different types of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) software available and each one handles connectivity a little differently. However, for the most part, you will always need to know three things in order to login. You should refer to the manual for your FTP client as to how to input this information.

Your login name
Your password
Your server name

This information was provided in the welcome e-mail that was sent to you immediately after payment was made.

Please note that if you add additional ftp users via your cPanel, you will need to append your actual domain name to your login name when you log in with these sub-accounts. So, instead of having the login name username you would use username@yourdomain.com for the login name of sub-accounts.

One of the best open-source FTP clients is FileZilla.  The most current version FileZilla is available in our downloads section.
